The sun is shining and spring is clearly at our doorstep. It seemed fitting to choose this image from a #BlackHeadedGull colony for #ThrowbackThursday, even though it'll be a few more weeks before they start breading this year. I took this picture in 2008 on Baltrum.

The warmest days of the year so far in Helsinki, but soon the temperature will drop dramatically. No rest for the camera shutter before that, so I walked through the Pikku Huopalahti neighborhood once again yesterday. There were a lot people out and about, and wildlife too – such as Canada geese, barnacle geese and black-headed gulls.
