What a great place to launch and run a small educational business from. At that time, sleeping in a custom bus on the backlot was contemplated & renting the smaller buildings for a brief time to traveling architecture geeks while they #sightsee LA's other masterpieces.

The investigation of the property's dwellings & neighborhood continued most evenings during early Oct. when the details & value of a refined atomic model dominated my afternoon reveries.

An exceptional #clink from early Feb. had more new photos of the compound than all the other pics of the place seen until then. I saved inspirational images.

An interior photo from the #Entryway of the Salon w/ the #DiningRoom 's beckoning shelves in the background grabbed my attention the instant I saw it. Perhaps the perfect place for lots of #LargeIllustratedBooks. A closer panoramic view out the western window showed the wall-to-wall bookshelves nestled into an #acute little corner by the #Salon

Could there be a more perfect base from which to #inaugurate an alternative atomic model #paradigm. What a great place for a #WorldHQ & #Showroom

Until then I hadn't yet seen any views of the exterior that showed even 3 walls in one picture. I suspect the only way for a photographer to capture such a perspective is by stepping back as far as possible and then just a little further onto the #landscape

The brief gallery of included photos showed the tiled bathroom and new basement plus more pix of the original #NeutraSerulnic home and it's incredible luxuriant lawn & surrounding landscape.

I was already familar w/ Neutra from several of my #LargeIllustratedBooks about local modern architecture and learned to spot several of his during trips around the #SilverlakeReservoir.

About 15ya I got a pass to one of the professional #Architectours of the area that granted rare access to a dozen modern homes in the area by Neutra, #Schindler, #Lautner & others.
