Bicycled 65K yesterday to Lanesboro.
Forgot I traded out my studded tires and crashed *up* a hill. I'm fine, bicycles fine. Just embarrassed. Up a hill hydroplaning over water I didn't catch over transparent ice. Studded tires I would have been able to correct, regular tires just slid.

1 year ago I discovered I would have to really adjust my bicycles and clothing when I bicycled from #Rushford to #Lanesboro on the #RootRiverTrail.
Bicycled the Root River Trail from Rushford to Lanesboro & back yesterday. Sunny day, even if a bit chilly.
2 other bicyclists. 6 people walking.
2 deer, 1 bounded across the trail in front of me.
10 rabbits.
Lots of grey squirrels. About 8 small red squirrels, each one had a nut in their mouth and they were really fast.
2 wild turkeys. First time I'd seen that.
