1️⃣ One reason I love this show is that it's enormous fun to watch. Performers like #LouiseSorel and #LaneDavies are a big part of that fun. At one point here, Davies walks into a scene and totally changes the whole dynamic. You can't take your eyes off him. That's real star power.

#Seinfeld 076 (1994) - 9/10
❝That’s my ass in your window!❞

1️⃣ The best thing about this script - by #TomGammill and #MaxPross - is the way that, at different times, Jerry and George end up in the same situation (and behaving the same way) as Jerry’s girlfriend in the opening scene. Refusing food without being able to explain.

2️⃣ It’s an episode full of ideas. The loud suit, the Elaine mannequin, Kramer’s itch, etc. Gloriously inventive.

3️⃣ #LaneDavies (#SantaBarbara) guest stars.

#SantaBarbara 012 (1984) - 6/10

1️⃣ There’s not much to this episode. No developments, nothing changes. It’s more character-driven than plot-driven. Character conflict rules the day. Arguments, basically. CC & Mason. Again. John & Marisa. Again. Kelly & Peter. Again. Everybody saying stuff we’ve heard before. Probably a good episode for new viewers.

2️⃣ #PeterMarkRichman and #LaneDavies are good together. I like Richman’s CC more on this rewatch than I did on first viewing.

#SantaBarbara 009 (1984) - 8/10
MVPs: #RobinWright, #LaneDavies, #LouiseSorel.

1️⃣ Lengthy opening scene of Kelly reading one of Joe’s letters and thinking of the past. No dialogue, but Wright is sensational.

2️⃣ Later, Mason opens up to Kelly. His (justified?) self-pity very much on display. A riveting scene. His best so far.

3️⃣ Another lunch date for Augusta and Joe Perkins. Amid the quips and flirting, she seems to be turning a corner and starting to believe him.
