Trying this motif once more. I find Derwent Inktense incredibly challenging. I guess it makes sense fora new medium.

Went back to my (dried) gouache palette. I am finally getting the hang of it, I think! So different due to the way you layer the paints as compared to watercolor. Somehow landscapes work with gouache for me, but not with watercolor. 🤷🏻‍♂️
