I guess a good way to end my postings of videos from #Uganda is with one that features one of Africa's most dangerous (for humans) animals. It is estimated they kill 500 humans every year. One of the large males lunged at our boat on the side I was sitting, a moment that I'll remember for a long while.
These were getting in the way of us looking for African Finfoot :)

One of the keenly anticipated species on the #Uganda trip was African Finfoot. A boat trip on Lake Mburo produced many memorable sights (Hippos! (one lunging at the boat!!)) but even the guides were surprised by the sight of five separate Finfoot - both male and female. I was too entranced to pick up my camera but stick with it. A difficult species to see. Another memory made.

My very first wild #Zebra. These were Burchell's Zebra - a subspecies of Plains Zebra. The young one have brown, rather than black stripes.

We had superb views of this Brown Snake Eagle at the roadside in Lake Mburo National Park - in fact, nearly our first three birds in the NP were Eagles (Wahlberg's, Tawny and this one). A great start.
