The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is investigating after a woman fell off of a boat and drowned on Lake Conroe on the Fourth of July.

Lake Conroe drowning on Fourth of July under investigation

Because of conditions surrounding the drowning, the wildlife department is leading the initial investigation into the incident, according to the Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable's Office.
