Finished the #LadyOfTheLake in record time - tried out Vallejo's Transparent Water, Water Effects for the first time.
Relatively pleased with the outcome, but is it just expensive Gesso?
Not overly happy with the lips, but this was the fourth attempt, so I'm calling it there.
I was a bit worried earlier on that I'd gone too pale. But painting her hair has really made it feel like it's starting to come together.
Some in progress shots as I lay down some flesh tones.
Started with a base of Game Air "Flesh" (72.769), then added highlights of Game Color "Pale Flesh" (72.003), then Game Air "Pale Flesh" (72.703), and then mixed some Army Painter Air "Yeti White" into it for final highlights and the base for the fabric.
