Guilty academic #summer pleasures: Occasionally stopping halfway on my 17 km bike ride to work at my favourite café on the #LachineCanal. At 8 am sharp (when they open) I will have an espresso on the « terrasse » and answer student advising emails. Then arriving at work with a feeling of accomplishment. Turns out there is a #MontrealPython informal meetup event coming up this Saturday (June 1st, 2024) on the #LachineCanal in #PointeSaintCharles (near #Griffintown) in #SoMTL … the first outdoors event as far as I know, as a family-friendly picnic/potluck, right next to the cycleway. Beautiful weather is to be expected.

I'll be there in case anyone else from the extended #Montreal #Python / #opensource programming community wants to meet to… literally touch grass 😎
