The Bumpass Hell Trail is under a seasonal closure due to accumulated winter snow. This is an annual closure to prevent injury from treacherous trail conditions. The trail typically remains closed through mid-July. No estimated opening date. Learn more

Juniper Lake Road is closed to vehicle traffic due to damage from the 2021 Dixie Fire. Work is in progress to re-open the road. The road is closed to pedestrian traffic when snow-covered.
