In this recent accident, I read that about 40 people (facing forward) were all thrown forward, ripped out of their forward facing seats.
Because they had 2 point seatbelts. I wonder if 3 point types, like in cars might help, next time.
I wonder if the old topic of building passenger jets with the seats facing to the back comes up again.

The deadly Air Canada collision at LaGuardia airport has renewed questions about the long-standing shortage of air traffic controllers in the United States and the potential safety implications.
And this is why you wear your seatbelt on take-off!
This is sad. Apparently in dealing with one emergency, this happened.
And within a few hours, everyone will be focusing on why their flight was delayed instead of the very human thing that just happened.
