Glacier melt and its consequences

A fascinating article by the @BBC shows that the melting of Alpine glaciers can have unexpected consequences on site as well far away from the ice masses.
For her research, the author visited the Bella Vista refuge within LTER Rofental and interviewed colleagues from the LTER Austria network monitoring the glacier retreat.
