The seven problems Liverpool are suffering from

Defeat to Manchester City has underscored the issues at the club with a battle now on to finish in the top five

The Telegraph
Football belongs to players and fans, not to soulless, joyless pedants with no feel for the game. Senseless decision, an affront to football. Ruling out that third goal is one of the most ridiculous moments of the season, totally against the spirit of the game. The law’s an ass, if it’s a foul, play advantage, and/or how can it be DOGSO if there’s a goal scored? Can’t blame the ref tbh, blame the law and the law-makers and the fact that refs denied the opportunity to apply common sense, living in fear of those who mark their homework. #LIVMCI

Wth is this? i might be wrong but wth is this?

Had some time now process the game and what happened at the end of the #LFC game this evening.

Dom is both a hero and a villain of the game unfortunately. He played brilliantly overall. That free-kick once again was spectacular! Unfortunately he plays Bernardo Silva onside for City’s equaliser, but can let him off a bit for that as he’s not in his natural position/role in the team due to other injuries.

Dom’s red card for DOGSO and cancelling City’s third goal initially seemed ridiculous at the time. In hindsight, it’s the correct decision. Ref can’t give advantage because it’s a red card offence, and even if he did for some reason, then Haaland fouls Dom to deny him from clearing the ball on the goal line which only happens because Dom fouled Haaland. It seems a mess, but it’s the right decision. Dom’s a bit idiotic for fouling in that situation when the game is lost anyway.

Silver lining, DOGSO red cards are only a one match ban, not three.
