What in the name of all that is holy would make twitter think I would be interested in transgender hate?

Oh dear God. I just visited the cesspool, I promise I was only intending to be there for a few seconds to find a tweet from a specific account.

Unfortunately before I left, I wondered what the hashtag #LGBWithoutTheT was all about.....

I don't think it will be long before I just add the entire Twitter domain into the #PiHole block list at this point.

People who support this know absolutely nothing about our history as a community and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Fuck them.

This is just a tactic to buy acceptance by throwing half the community under the bus (read: kill).

I just want to tell these people this: one day they will come for you too. And at that point, no one is gonna be there to protect you.

"The recent backlash against ‘queer’ is form of dogwhistle transphobia – it sends its message to the right listener, but frames it in an innocuous way. The Guardian itself is well-known for its frequent and open transphobia, at least in the UK.

There is a growing reactionary movement within (or outside of, as the case may be) the gay community. Groups such as LGB Alliance are seeking to divorce non-hetero sexualities from non-cis genders as a campaign focus, to transphobic ends. Similar motivations lie behind the frequent trending of #LGBwithouttheT on Twitter.

This blatant transphobia, along with the sidelining of other marginalised queer identities such as asexuality, forgets two very important things. First, the fates of queer sexualities and genders are already one. They were entwined in the early days of queer liberation, and they remain so to this day."
