I’m currently unhoused with my partner, Betty, and our two cats, Max and Lenny. We are trying to stay day-by-day in a hotel, and trying to raise for a car. Mutual aid posts happen because of this.
When I’m not fighting for our basic needs, I am making art, watching some shows and movies I like, and dealing with chronic pain and bad mental health from having complex PTSD as an autistic person. While hoping I’ll get to a point of being able to work on my music again.
I take digital art commissions, some of which are featured. I also have two EP’s out so far, and have had my debut album in planning for a few years. Some of my music has been about “love” in a broad sense, and I plan to make more about my c-PTSD. Something that’s also making me hope for stability is the fact that I’ve been trying to write out my history, to reach other trauma survivors. Earlier this year, I finished the process of creating my storybook, all of which is done by myself, except the cover art (my cousin) and the pdf build (my partner).
I’ve been in “survival mode” for several years at this point. So it’s hard to be super personable online, except when I instinctively mask for the camera to record TikToks (what I’d give to leave that app).
If you stick around, please be patient with me. I’m just trying to be okay one day at a time and keep my loved ones safe, while accommodating my disabilities and being creative.
