Okay, when someone claims to be a STEM nerd, and sees an #RCMP phone complaint line as a perfectly reasonable measure of #hate in a community, they are lying about the one or the other.
Guess what? #bipoc and #LGBTQ2SIA+ people rarely use such methods to report hate crimes/threats/etc. Why? because they have a statistically significant chance they will die if they do. In fact, informing police at all increases risks to their entire community.

Note for those who don’t know: trans teens cannot currently have surgery and no-one is advocating for them to have surgery. What the Tories want to ban is puberty blockers and counselling. Puberty blockers are reversible (and anyway detransitioning is incredibly rare).
You can bet that the Tories will roll back even the somewhat skimpy climate policies offered by Trudeau too.
