Decided to try a couple of Microsoft apps on the Lenovo tablet running Android (though email log-in alerts say the tab is now running Linux!).

Microsoft Edge Beta app lasted about 5 minutes until I uninstalled it.

Microsoft Bing app almost "got itself uninstalled" until it allowed me to remove all the Microsoft crap ftom the "opening new tab" screen.
Their default page still fills with crap (I can probably change that to a different website, though).
All the Microslop is on by default (with shit hidden in permissions and options) but can mostly be turned off.
