How‘s your #MushroomMonday going? It’s the first day of the „vorlesungsfreie“ period for me (which means no regular teaching until after Easter) and I‘ve enjoyed discussing term paper projects with students, rehearsing a joint #LDW2026 presentation, an online meeting with project partners from Belgium and Libanon, working on my textbook, and also a dash of music making and a slow jog through the local woods.

My contribution to this year's ❤️ Love Data Week ❤️ on Wed 11 Feb. 14–15:30 CET is an online presentation and discussion on the #reproducibility of #linguistics studies. Two of my students, Ali Yıldız & Marie Klünter, will be reporting on their attempts to reproduce two published studies based on the authors' original data. Did they succeed? Why or why not?
