Quote of the day, 22 March: Silvio José Båez, ocd
âLazarus, come out!â
John 11:43This is the cry that Jesus addresses to each one of us; today, Jesus tells us, âCome out!â
Donât stay in the tomb of your sin, thinking that you canât be forgiven. Donât become discouraged in the face of your worries, thinking that thereâs no solution or future for you. Donât shut yourself up in sadness and uncertainty.
Let yourself be grasped by my hand, Jesus tells us, and come out of the tomb.
When we let Jesus take us by the hand, itâs possible to live in a new way without fear, loving and letting ourselves be loved, living with the wisdom of those who do no harm, with the transparency of a person who doesnât pretend to deceive others, and with the simplicity of those who trust completely in God.
