Ceviche Mixto (Mixed Ceviche) from Holbox in Los Angeles. I can't think of a time I visited Holbox without ordering this. Their ceviche is delicious, the seafood is as fresh as can be, and it works either as a meal for one, or great sharable for more.

There's a rivalry between Cole's and Philippe The Original's regarding the true origin of the French Dip. I've got no opinion on which started it, but I do have an opinion on which is the best.

While you're at Cole's enjoying the best French Dip you've ever had, order an Old Fashioned. They specialize in 'em and they're pretty good.
