I am feeling about as useless as a man can feel right now. I'm going out in fifteen minute intervals trying to chip my car out - and it's "chip", not "shovel". I'm just literally bludgeoning the ice with my shovel and scooping up the bits I chip off. I'm only doing a bit at a time so I don't end up in the hospital, and in the meantime the cold I had last week has boomeranged and now after breathing in all the cold air out there, my throat is sore and my voice has gotten hoarse again.

I need to go across town and get my other wife's car out as well [ #PolyProblems ] And I have an online show tonight and a show tomorrow and on Thursday, all of which will require me being able to speak.

I hate Tuesday nights, especially in the autumn and winter. it’s just loads of fun hauling one or two garbage/recycle bins down the stupid steep driveway. so far we’ve had a mild autumn. I suspect the winter is going to be hell.

I have a set of spikes that fit over my shoes and am praying they’ll allow me to get down the icy stairs and driveway without falling and cracking my head open.

It's 2024, and I have to wait 30 seconds for the impossibly long track name to scroll by to see the actual title at the beginning like waiting for an announcement on the LED board in my high school to scroll by in the 1990s... what in the world happened to DESIGN? :facepalm:

You would think I would know how to draw my father by now, but…no. I just redrew his head more times than I’m going to bother to count—not throughout the story, but in just one palimpsest of head! And in the pencil stage on the good paper 🙄, not even the roughs!
