You know. Now that we’ve actually crossed the event horizon and it’s too late to reverse course.

I bought mine in 1992 from the money I made in the army. So it’s an early revision, and the installation of the sampling option officially involved some soldering.

I think I’ll rent a car next time I visit my parents and bring my K2000 back with me (no idea where to put it, though).

I've read a Slashdot snippet about a special type of idiots who believe that mankind should give way to the superior minds that they hope to build, using simplistic ideas about minds as SW and matter as HW from #Kurzweil, et.al.
