https://ilmanifesto.it/hanif-kureishi-ciao-liberal-svolto-a-destra?t=8DIfObW49xzA-BxgU8kO6

Nella versione italiana il titolo è
"Hanif Kureishi: ciao liberal, svolto a destra

"WHY I AM BECOMING A FASCIST
My MAGA hat arrived this morning":
https://hanifkureishi.substack.com/p/why-i-am-becoming-a-fascist

#fascismi #autocrazie #Trump #democrazia

‘My body is broken, but I’m not going to give up’: Hanif Kureishi on life after the accident that paralysed him

He was known for taboo-busting, transgressive stories about identity, sexuality and belonging. Then the author and screenwriter broke his neck. But he’s still every bit as provocative …

The Guardian

The Buddha of Suburbia and My Beautiful Launderette writer Hanif Kureishi has said he collapsed in Rome, Italy, last month and now cannot move his arms or legs.

Kureishi said the incident left him "profoundly traumatised, altered and unrecognisable to myself".

I am very saddened by this news. #Kureishi is one of my favourite novelists. I recall I met him 15 years ago at the Festival of Literature in Rome, where he was invited to speak.
