#Russia media unexpectedly announced that “urban combat in #Kupyansk continues” four months after #Putin and #Gerasimov declared “full control over #Kupyansk” and its “liberation” 😂

Now they say not only that “urban combat continues” - in the town that had been “100% liberated” - but that Russian forces “concentrated in the Yubileynyi region preparing for an offensive on Kupyansk-Vuzlovoi”. Which had been also already “liberated”, in January 😂

Por fin parece que hemos conseguido encontrar un canal fiable del frente de #Kupyansk, lo cual es más difícil de lo que se pueda imaginar.
Los contactos son, en su mayoría, corresponsales de guerra u oficiales, sin que su nivel de fiabilidad tenga algo que ver. Obviamente, por sinceros que sean, ninguno de ellos mostrará imágenes de muerte en su bando. A nosotros eso nos da igual, lo importante son sus avances y las cifras que comparten. Debemos entender que siempre habrá más imágenes de muertos o prisioneros ucranianos, porque quien retrocede defícilmente puede mostrar las del enemigo.
Por lo pronto hemos descubierto que el ucraniano está en el centro de la ciudad, pero sin controlarlo, mientras que el ruso está "limpiando" el sur, lo cual demuestra que los mapas que se comparten no reflejan la realidad.

The best illustration to the parallel reality in which #Russia political leadership lives is this official “map of Special Military Operation” published by RIA 😂

Approximately the same area shown on DeepState map[^2] for comparison. The main difference is that on the RIA map the town of #Kupyansk is all painted red, as according to the Russian military command it’s 100% controlled by Russian army. The DeepState map reflects the physical reality of the ground, that is the town controlled by Ukrainian forces, which confirmed by countless OSINT videos from the ground.

Actually, using this technique Russia can quite easily finally end the war and claim victory - just pain Kyiv red and say it’s controlled by Russian army - trivial! 🤷

Al este de #Kupyansk el ucraniano ha caído en unos cercos horribles. Hace un par de semanas dijimos que eran 5 batallones, hoy de esos apenas quedan unos pocos cientos de combatientes. Según algunos analistas, el ruso ha expulsado al ucraniano de amplias zonas. Según la información que nos ha llegado, no ha sido expulsión sino eliminación, unos en el largo recorrido de una huida casi imposible, otros rindiéndose y otros...
No encontrarán imágenes ni vídeos, al menos nosotros no. Las que hemos estado viendo eran del ucraniano durante su ofensiva, ahora que se ha disipado prefiere callar. Desde el principio, el frente de Kupyansk es y ha sido el más hermético de esta guerra. Solo los combatientes saben dónde está el frente.

El ruso ha reactivado el frente del oeste de #Vovchansk, tomando Neskuchne, una pequeña aldea rural de tres km de largo, cercana a #Kharkov, que carece de importancia territorial si no fuera porque sigue pegada al curso del río Murom, necesario para llegar a #Vesele, donde seguramente el ruso parará. Se supone que la intención también es tomar #Lyptsi.
Por qué marcamos esas dos pequeñas poblaciones?
Porque desde ellas el ruso puede instalar su artillería, la mejor y más numerosa del mundo, para bombardear Karkov con precisión y así desmantelar el principal eje logístico que alimenta el norte de #Donetsk, #Izium y #Kupyansk.
Si al ruso le queda suficiente aliento, esta primavera podríamos ver los avances que marcarían el final del actual régimen de #Ucrania.
