new #loongarch board alert: the 3A6M50
seems related to asus china’s XC-LS3A6M, but the second NIC has been replaced with a realtek clone, and additional USB ports are present.
the system i acquired with this board (itself advertised as a micro server) also came with #wodposit RAM and #kunluntech UEFI v1.1.6 firmware, which is compatible with the UEFI 2.7 standard.
it also came with an SSD but it was SATA so after booting it up for curiosity’s sake, i immediately set it aside (it comes with loongnix instead of UOS incidentally, but the loongnix image doesn’t support the GPU it came with, so i wound up having to set aside the dGPU too.
here are some pictures of the bios firmware. looks very OEM.
