#KubeCon Europe brought some π₯ real-world reference architectures, by CERN, Swisscom, and ZEISS Vision! These companies published how they're running #CloudNative in production. Not slides. Not demos. Battle-tested systems. shepherded by the #CNCF End User Technical Advisory Board. π I particularly liked ZEISS Group's Vision Care Order Fulfillment platform. They rebuilt their entire order fulfillment stack, greenfield, with 200+ microservices handling order routing, document generation, and logistics at scale. And the stack hits close to home for me: #Kubernetes, #Dapr, #KEDA, and #OpenTelemetry. Their one honest regret? "In hindsight, we would have standardized on CNCF native components sooner to avoid replacing vendor-specific SDKs mid-project." OpenTelemetry from day one would have saved them real headaches. This is exactly why the CNCF ecosystem matters. Real companies, real scale, open source foundations. And the community in sharing knowledge and best practices.
