During the #Holocaust, #Nazis revived the mediaeval practice of ghettos & made them much more inhumane. The #KrakówGhetto had 15,000 crammed into a space where 3,000 had lived. #ThisDayInHistory in 1943 they began a two-day liquidation, with most going to the #Bełżec #DeathCamp.
