@nick ... also nach meiner "fundierten Marktanalyse" 😉 gibt es für #Hubzilla noch kein Angebot, das in Europa gehostet wird. Und gerade Hubzilla kann ja interessant und sinnvoll sein für Organisationen wegen seines differenzierten Rechte-Rollen-Systems und der vielen (erweiterbaren) Funktionen.

Darüber hinaus gibt es zwar mehr als genug Angebote für Mastodon, aber soweit ich weiß, nur für die Standard-Version. Was nicht / kaum angeboten wird, sind aber die weiterentwickelten Forks wie #GlitchSoc #KoyuSpace oder #Ecko , die ja doch einige sinnvolle Funktionen mehr haben (Zeichenlimit änderbar, local Posts, mehr Umfrageoptionen, Markdown). Ich habe aber nicht den Überblick, wie da der aktuelle Stand ist.

#QOTO: Just #Mastodon but with quote posts, is currently aligned with #Mastodon 3.2.1

#Smalltown: Allows admins to enable or disable DMs, private posts, private accounts, bookmarks, links, and the configuration of custom icons and favicons. Adds a “post queue”, which forces admins to approve posts before they are published, the “post digest”, an admin-curated selection of posts that are sent to users once each day, “featured topics”, which is essentially a configurable bundling of hashtags, and the ability to restore deleted posts. All #Mastodon branding has also been removed.

#Ecko: Unclear, although the about page of the flagship instance claims that it is “unblocking”, so perhaps blocking and muting is disabled.

#Hometown: Local-only posting, in-line full blog post support, exclusive lists (you can add users to lists without their posts being in the home timeline), themes, and custom max post limits.

#GlitchSoc: A lot (read the differences here: https://glitch-soc.github.io/docs/)

#Koyuspace: Everything from #GlitchSoc, plus #Tenor support, custom theming and logos, and native #Jitsi integrations.
