The Department of Arts and Culture’s Civic Art Division invites artists to submit qualifications for the design of a mural that will be painted on the façade of the Vermont Corridor, Site 2 building in Koreatown. The site will serve as the new administrative headquarters for the LA County Department of Mental Health as well as provide office space for the Departments of Public Health, Children and Family Services, Public Social Services, and the Chief Executive Office.
Kim Hye-kyung, accompanying President Lee Jae-myung, visited New York’s Koreatown, expressing gratitude to local merchants for promoting Korean culture and noting the growing popularity of Korean food and K-culture in the US.
