Amanda HickieSix months or so ago we were visited regularly by a couple of fledgling kookaburras. Haven't seen them a while but that's okay because we had a couple of fledgling butcher birds visit after that.
The butcher birds have moved on but these two appeared today. Old friends? They are only a couple of metres away and they can clearly see me through the glass but they don't seem to mind.
There's a fish tank right below them but if these are my old friends, they know there's no way in
