@zutalorz I LOVE them. If you google konjac knots (aka Shirataki Nests aka Yam Noodles), you'll find a lot of interesting info about them. I purchase fresh at H-Mart and they're great. You can also get them on Amazon believe it not, and they are ALMOST as good as H-Mart (the fresh package says "Yam Noodles" so you may have to look for the "knots" in the package like the photo shows.) You need to soak them first, then boil for 5 minutes.

Favorite weekend lunch, ready in about 15 minutes: konjac knots (yam noodles) with some spicy chili crisp sauce loaded onto a bed of spinach, cilantro, fresh cucumbers, green onions, and tomatoes. Next time I'll try this with gochujang sauce which may be the super-sauce I'm looking for.

Continuing my obsession with Konjac Knots aka Shirataki Nests aka Yam Noodles (which are gluten free): I tried them this time with chili and black bean paste, alongside some Chinese broccoli with sesame oil, and heavily-spiced tofu crumbles. These things are going to be a regular menu item around here now. I'm looking forward to using the nests in Pho and other soups.

I am obsessed with Japanese konjac knot noodles aka Shirataki nests. Rinse thoroughly before cooking them in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. They're just like vermicelli noodles in texture and won't lose their shape. I dressed them with a ginger-garlic marinade and served with cucumber, tomato, tofu.
