Here is another Quick Gen test, this time using the Firefly Platoon Officer for K47 as the test subject, and this time with a white primer instead of Zenithol. I am finding so far Quick Gen does give you some neat extra effects when you paint in layers and using multiple coats if needed.

Working on building out the backlog to clear some space. So got a regiment of 20 Phoenix Guard complete for the High Elves and finished the ruined buildings from K47.
Finished the test Stahltruppen. Fairly happy with it, and I think my freehand is getting at least slightly better. Did this one entirely with AK Interactive 3rd gen acrylic paints.

The test Firefly is pretty much done. Pretty sure I got close to the feeling of a WW2 US Army Paratrooper uniform and have ideas on possibly where to improve on the rest, but what do you all think?

I couldn’t help it, I really wanted to paint a test Firefly for K47 lol. No primer just testing paint schemes. Ideally speaking since we are dealing with alternative history I am trying to go for something that actual US paratroopers looked like in WW2 just with that K47 touch.

Finished building all the Infantry from the Konflikt 47 Starter box. Need to do some touch ups on the Vogelspinne but otherwise that is pretty much built, and got the Linebacker about 50% built. Just got to finish the Linebacker and the building and I can get to playing and painting. 😁
