that’s a neat way to do the controversy part of the CC backstory cause in the manga it was just single panels but here it makes it look more like CC is actively regretting all of his mistakes… it’s funny because in the manga this predates the Gigantomachia fight (in the real world I mean) so this was really the first time you got to see what Jeanist could really do serving as a nice teaser for MHA proper…

you know considering how Koichi had unfortunate rumours spread about him cause of a misunderstanding he sure is eager to spread rumours about Eraserhead… those capsules look kind of familiar… love how the scar faced villain just has a FedEx badge on his arm… literally no attempt to hide it at all… I mean the “e” is a bit smudged so it could technically be an “a” or an “o”… but still… You know I thought CC’s wife would have sounded a little… older… IDK…

Koichi your not good at lying so why bother… this is my problem with Vigilantes at this point Koichi feels completely useless here and everything between Knuckleduster leaving and the next big event feels like filler more than anything “Squid Kid” SPLATOON reference in MY MHA!!! (Probably not but like see this is the only thing I can make a joke about and it’s the end of the episode…)

I thought it was odd because later Koichi’s like “look what I can do now” to Pop even though she was already there… so first we have All Might as Super Man, Knuckleduster as Batman and now O’Clock as Flash what is MHA Next Generation gonna have a Green Lantern esque hero… with sound only monitor it should be obvious the connection between this guy and O’Clock…

off topic but it’s honestly my personal opinion that this part of the story is the lowest of Vigilantes… but at the very least the anime’s breezing through it so that’s nice… also out of all the scenes to change and extend why is it this one… like the mecha head guys look completely different in the manga and a rocket punch quirk is used rather than missile fingers… and it ends with Koichi getting hit…
