A few months ago I traveled through France, from the castles of the Loire to Normandy.

I wrote a few lines and shot a series of 35mm film photographs — an attempt to trace that shift from something almost fable-like to something more marked by history.

This is the first ever roll, shot with a Yashica Electro 35 GS, made in 1972. I used a slightly expired Kodak UltraMax 400.

When my best friend gifted me his fathers viewfinder, I was really happy to hold such a beautiful (to my eyes at least) camera. But, I didn't know what I had until I started watching various YouTube videos on the model. Gave it to a specialized technician and now, I am a very happy owner.
