Back in the day, when KNZK roamed the internet, there was a misconfiguration which led to the site not federating properly. The admin was in college and didn’t have time to investigate, so we ended up having a local-only server for a while, which felt like a fun slumber party. The server was in Japan, so most users were sleeping while we had our quiet nightly rave, trying not to wake them. I miss that feeling.

I went through my followers and who I'm following and removed a bunch of accounts which haven't posted in over 1000 days or are from known defunct servers. bofa.lol and knzk.me #KNZKForever I wish there was a tool that could help me prune these accounts.

It's been a hard year/life.
But we've made it this far.

Knzk has been like a sort of refuge. A place and time were I learned so much about kindness.
