well the episode preview kind of reveals all the surprise twists huh… but remember how I said that this part of the story was low when it didn’t involve Knuckleduster… see this entire time Knuckleduster has been making his move so yes it counts…

anyways kind of weird that CC and his wife are just talking in Japanese here especially his wife like logically she’s supposed to be tired so it’d make more sense to speak in English… can’t believe you embarrassed your wife like that C.C not cool… and this is why the sky egg has a lot of focus in the opening here… I still wish it had more emphasis on CC here rather than Knuckleduster especially since the big thing in season 1 was how he left

so with these episodes it’s fair to say we’re getting MONTHS worth of chapters in one week like it was a loooooong time before Soga and Knuckleduster reappeared in the manga but here not so much (especially cause Knuckleduster appears in the opening which I still find to be weird cause like the whole big thing with him is he’s supposed to have “left” the main group

I mean I guess the next major battle would probably make sense for a grand finale of season 2… well frankly the Oboro backstory is like the one exception to the whole “when Knuckleduster is relevant the story has high moments…” I also just realized the reason why it feels like things are going faster on an episode per episode basis is cause the manga was biweekly which meant 1 chapter every 2 weeks

the towel scene was a lot grosser in the manga… glad they toned that down here… what I’ve noticed with Vigilantes is the plot always seems to reach it’s highs when that man appears… especially since it seem he may have some connection to O’Clock (I mean I already know… cause manga but still) whoa we’re doing the Aizawa Oboro backstory arc now dang! They’re switching the order of all this here!

Koichi your not good at lying so why bother… this is my problem with Vigilantes at this point Koichi feels completely useless here and everything between Knuckleduster leaving and the next big event feels like filler more than anything “Squid Kid” SPLATOON reference in MY MHA!!! (Probably not but like see this is the only thing I can make a joke about and it’s the end of the episode…)
I thought it was odd because later Koichi’s like “look what I can do now” to Pop even though she was already there… so first we have All Might as Super Man, Knuckleduster as Batman and now O’Clock as Flash what is MHA Next Generation gonna have a Green Lantern esque hero… with sound only monitor it should be obvious the connection between this guy and O’Clock…
