Ein Satz aus einer Vorlesung vor gut 25 Jahren hallt immer wieder in meinem Gedächtnis nach: „Sie müssen den Blödsinn nicht auswendig lernen. Es reicht, wenn Sie wissen, wo er steht und wie Sie ihn lesen und verstehen sollen. Und wenn Sie das auch nicht können, greifen Sie zum Telefon und fragen Sie jemanden, der es verstanden hat.“ (Prof. Dr. Leonard Neidhardt). Wenn ich mir so manche Aussage von Politikern und Managern anhöre, dann kommt mir dieser Satz immer wieder in den Sinn. Ja, man muss nicht alles im Kopf haben. Aber sie sollten wenigstens wissen, wo und wie sie die Informationen finden und wie sie diese zu interpretieren haben. Wenn sie das auch nicht können, sollten sie wenigstens jemanden fragen, der es weiß und kann. Das ist allemal besser, als populistischen Unsinn von sich zu geben, der nicht auf ZDF (Zahlen, Daten, Fakten) und einer gewissen tiefergehenden Analyse beruht. (Ich fasse mich jetzt erst einmal an die eigene Nase.)
