I want to make a nice warm poncho in u don’t know what color and also a pullover in a black yarn.

I have the poncho pattern but I have to decide on yarn for both and also a pattern for the pullover.

And the problem is that there are infinite yarns and patterns and I actually don’t even know where to start.

Should i just use mal abrigo for both? How do I narrow things down??

Any #knitters out there? I think I would like to commission some "office gloves", thin merino wool fingerless gloves designed for typing. I have always had bad circulation and my office is always freezing. #knitting

EDIT: I wasn't clear that I wanted to buy these from a knitter, not learn to knit them. That would seem to be a pretty complex thing to tackle as a first project versus a scarf or potholder.
