Doing homework for a blog post on Factory Floor's debut LP, led me to this collab between FF's Nik Colk Void and Swedish artist Klara Lewis. It's a shame the cassettes are sold out, it would be a great Bandcamp Friday snag. Might just have to get the digital... Or vinyl...

Sunday noon listening:
”Ingrid” by #KlaraLewis

One-sided vinyl with one track lasting about 20 minutes. A melancholy short melody played with a string instrument, perhaps a cello, is looped over and over again. Gradually the melody starts to disintegrate and becomes more and more distorted. In the end we’re left with noise. Ends in a locked groove.

Had to adjust the volume a couple of times while listening. Starts quietly and the ending is pretty noisy although not that harsh. Very pleasant and meditative sounds. Reminds a bit Disintegration Loops by #williambasinski
