July 26, 2025. Let’s ferment kkakdugi with purslane. Daikon, purslane, and green beans are dependable garden crops in southern Minnesota. The pastes are fermented crops from the garden. And the ginger is store bought. The salt brine is covering the vegetables six hours later. This is expected to be a two day ferment. #fermentation, #Kkakdugi, #growyourown, #gardening, #garlic, #purslane, #daikon
@tippitiwichet Daikon radishes are easy for us to grow. We harvest multiple crops per year. There are good varieties in white, pink, purple, and green. The Korean Kkakdugi kimchi recipe by Maangchi was our entry level radish kimchi. Thank you Maangchi. #minnesota, #Kkakdugi, #fermentation.
@sternenstrasse @SeaFury Kkakdugi is a wonderful kimchi variety. Daikon radishes grow so enthusiastically. #fermentation, #kimchi, #kkakdugi.
@Pollinators @SeaFury I'm enjoying my batch of Kkakdugi which is 5 years old now and has not been opened so far... It did not go bad but its taste is rather intense and sour, very delicious! #kimchi #kkakdugi
@BroadforkForVictory #Maangchi has #Korean food YouTube cooking. Which includes #Kimchi. The cubed radish kimchi is #Kkakdugi. This one is a quick #Ferment. Eat right away or ferment a couple days. We used kohlrabi when we are out of Korean radish. Maangchi is inspirational. .
