The National Kiwi Hui is a great opportunity for Kiwi Practitioners to listen to presentations from experts in various fields, network with fellow kiwi conservationists, and be immersed in all things kiwi. There is no cost to attend the talks, but attendees will need to make their own accommodation arrangements and cover the costs of breakfasts and dinners. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided. The hui will run from Tuesday to Thursday and will not be live streamed or recorded.
To help you plan your travels, below are anticipated timings (subject to change)
Tuesday 9 June
1:00pm - name badge collection
2:00pm - mihi whakatau talks/sessions until 5:00pm
6:30pm optional visit to the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary (no admission fee and Wednesday night as the bad weather back up)
Wednesday 10 June
Full day of speakers and break-out sessions, 8:30am - 5:00pm
5:00pm mix and mingle with canapes at the hotel
Thursday 11 June
Hui concludes formally at 12:00pm
Lunch available 12:00pm - 1:00pm
1:30pm optional visit to Pic’s Peanut Butter Factory (no admission fee)
