Agriculture is still one of the most traditional sectors, and also one of the hardest to decarbonise and digitise at the same time. O-CEI Horizon's Pilot 6 tests electric tractors for real farming operations such as mowing, harvesting, and crop treatment; while also deploying sensors to monitor the conditions in which the tractor operates (weather stations, tensiometers). Unlike other initiatives that target single, isolated tasks, this pilot integrates battery performance, route mapping, meteorological, and operational data across the farm into the O-CEI platform.
