Yay K-Kids! This week I presented a proclamation to the K-Kids at Weathersfield Elementary. Led by advisor Cristy Warner and backed by the Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks, K-Kids find friendship and support while helping our community. A partial list of K-Kids’ good works includes feeding the homeless, delivering Valentine’s Cards to hospice patients, and supporting the annual Relay for Life for cancer patients, their families, and researchers.
