Inhalt:
Die Analyse von Bewegungen ist eine zentrale Fragestellung in vielen Anwendungsfeldern des Sports. Sie reicht von der Technik- #Diagnostik im Training über die Wettkampfanalyse bis hin zum Monitoring der langfristigen Leistungsentwicklung. Auf Grundlage #KI basierter Verfahren lassen sich heute nahezu vollautomatische Analyseprozesse umsetzen, die bisher aufgrund des hohen manuellen Aufwands nicht praktikabel, nicht regelmäßig einsetzbar oder nur ausgewählten Kontexten vorbehalten waren. Anhand von Beispielen aus dem #Kanu Rennsport wird vorgestellt, wie aus konkreten Fragestellungen des Spitzenbereichs schrittweise praxistaugliche Lösungen entwickelt wurden und wie diese Perspektiven auch für den Nachwuchsbereich nutzbar gemacht werden können. Ergänzend werden weitere Impulse und Anregungen anhand von Beispielen aus dem #Kite-Segeln und dem #Handball präsentiert.

A black kite circles over the oceanic rock formations around the Chigogafuchi Abyss on the western end of Enoshima, probably on the lookout for brunch. This impressive kite made quite a spectacle of itself, including a number reasonably low passes over locals and tourists (though not coming into contact, despite a multitude of signs warning that they will happily pinch your food).

This is one of a series, each unique, of my hand made cyanotypes on watercolour paper (14” x 11”) with an image of a cloud-filled sky overprinted with my linocut print of several kites, and wind-socks each collaged with beautiful Japanese washi papers.

The carp-shaped Koinobori wind socks (also known as satsuki-nobori) are flown in Japan to celebrate Tango no sekku, or Children’s Day each May 5.
