Although the screenshot doesn't fully capture it, this young Japanese actor reminds me very much of the Korean actor Lee Yoon Ji, who was a similar age to this actor when she appeared in the #KDrama #King2Hearts.So watching this #Jdrama keeps bringing back painful memories of the most savagely WRONG ending to a story #IYKYK
12 years later and it is STILL too soon: powerful example of the pure EVIL evil called "extensions"

08-Feb : Saddest scene?
Looking over my list of dramas I watched last year, one scene that hit me with real sadness was from "King 2 Hearts." They deserved so much better.
"The Third Charm" gets an honorable mention because there were several scenes in that one that made me cry. The saddest drama of last year goes to "Mr. Plankton" - I think I cried every episode.
#kdrama Currently watching #DesignatedSurvivor60days - pretty good so far. The first episode was a bit heavy on political backstory, but I’m on the 6th now & enjoying it.
Also on episode 15 of #King2Hearts.
It’s interesting in both of these shows to see SK attitudes toward North Korea & North Koreans.

The immature prince of S. Korea's monarchy is part of international military games with a clever, strong, no-nonsense N. Korean woman. When disaster strikes, they end up betrothed as part of the negotiations. It's mostly about political intrigue, but this time on a global scale. The villain creates angst & suspense that are no joke.
It turned out to be a jewel (8.2 MDL / 9.5 Viki). Filmed in 2012, it felt current with great acting & cinematography. It had beautiful character dev., but not in a predictable way. Initially, the ML's character is infuriating & the FL's character was a little frustrating at times, but I came to love them both. With scenes that are heartwarming, shocking, heart-wrenching, humorous, & desperate. The fictional discussion of North/South relations makes a riveting watch.
