It just passed midnight here in East Tennessee, but it’s still #FathersDay in three of the four US time zones. I’d say happy Father’s Day, but I know it isn’t very happy for some, myself included. I have a very complicated relationship with it. I lost my dad back in 2000. And my daughter and I have not communicated in any way, shape or form since August of 2023. So let’s just say all the adverts about the day are like daggers in my heart. Also, I realized that it’s been two weeks since I checked in here. Long story short, I’m going through a rather long dark teatime of the soul right now. There are reasons, which I am not free to elaborate on right now.
