Die Bewerbungsphase für den Kindle Storyteller Award 2025 ist gestartet. Ab sofort bis zum 31. August 2025 können Autor:innen ihre deutschsprachigen Bücher beim bekanntesten Self-Publishing-Wettbewerb Deutschlands einreichen. Der Literaturpreis wird von Amazon in Zusammenarbeit mit Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP)ausgelobt und fördert kreative Stimmen aus allen Genres.
I have published (from Ireland) a couple of novellas on Amazon KDP, for worldwide distribution, and whilst I can order paperback copies from Amazon.de and Amazon.com, using Amazon.co.uk they are marked as 'Unavailable', and the KDP tech support lines tells me this is because of 'Brexit Laws'.
Anybody else had this problem?

Does no-one feel sorry for the people & libraries who end-up purchasing and being unsatisfied by these "low content" KDP books?
That coincided with the capture of the entire digital comics market by a single company, #Amazon, who enshittified its #Comixology division, driving creators and publishers into #KindleDirectPublishing, a gig-work platform that replicates the company's notoriously exploitative labor practices for creative workers. Today, Comixology is a ghost-town, its former employees axed in a mass layoff earlier this year:

Rubbish news, everyone!
After 2 years on sale with no objections, Oviposition has been removed from Amazon. They say is violates their ToS, but I can't see any way that's true.
They allow erotica and it's all my own work.
I've responded to ask what they think it violated, but don't know if that will make any difference.
I'm not sure there's much you folks can do to help me, but maybe consider buying one of my other books? #erotica #kdp #KindleDirectPublishing #Oviposition #Tentacles
