Centenary: #Kinchela Aboriginal Boys Training Home run by the Aborigines Protection Board/Welfare Board, NSW government from 1924 - 1970.
600 Aboriginal boys between ages five and 15 were stolen and incarcerated to assimilate them to be labourers; at K dairy and farm the boys did all the work.
Kinchela survivors know Aboriginal boys died at the home, either as a result of the brutal physical punishment and neglect or because they “met with foul play”.
