[!!CW!! Synopsis & non-spoilery review.]
A sr. editor at a monthly housing magazine runs into trouble when the new CEO turns out to be her new landlord. The potential of a story about what it means to have & make a home is unfortunately squandered. The storyline meanders & never finds a good, solid direction.
The cast is marvelous (great guest roles too) & carries the show - a cliched, tropeful story with a self-made, rich, cold boss & a poor, struggling jr. involved in a love triangle, & the worst noble idiocy & time-break/leap I've seen so far.
If you like architecture & seeing a variety of homes (some from other dramas), & appreciate the actors, it's a fun, often silly, kind of sweet watch through eps 15. Just stop there, & it'll be good. The writer went off the rails in the last episode & there's just no redemption possible.

Personal Taste
(2010 - Viki, 16 1:05 eps)
Lee Min Ho & Son Ye Jin are 2 of my faves. I found this while looking for something lighter - nothing outstanding in this drama, except maybe Lee Min Ho's fashion at the time.
He's an architect who wants to know more about a house & its designer, but the designer's daughter lives there. She happens to need a roommate, so he ends up accidentally "gay" & moves in. There is some bad humor 2010 SK-style around that, but it unexpectedly ends up being a touching storyline.
The opposites attract chemistry is great as he falls for her. She knows she's too trusting & could be hurt, but chooses to trust anyway, which makes her endearing. The 1st 10-12 episodes are very bingeable, but it unfortunately doesn't stick the landing well. It was still a fun watch with good acting, funny, touching, & tear-jerking moments.

When the Camellia Blooms
(2019 - Netflix, 20 1:10 eps)
Some romance, a bit of comedy, & a serial murder mystery. 20 eps is enough time to move gracefully between the genres. Motherhood, the flaws & heartbreaking sacrifices of the moms is the central theme.
It contains the I-can't-be-with-you-because trope. Aside from that personal peeve, the show is very well done. The sinister mystery has unexpected twists.
FL's name means camellia, representing faithfulness & longevity, which fits. They also represent spring & this series is about the awakening of the FL.
The cinematography was part of the story - not grand sweeping vistas, but good at conveying the scene's emotion. It also has the most beautifully coordinated neighborhood costuming I've seen.
The last eps was not what I expected, but tied up all the story lines nicely.
