Civilians had to walk more than 20 km through dangerous territory to escape. The route was planned and coordinated in advance, and drone operators maintained constant communication, guiding them using light indicators from a #Mavic drone.

After reaching the designated point, they were evacuated by armoured vehicles to the settlement of #Shevchenkove.
