Yesterday's threads are today's trim.
The pattern is that of Hallstatt Textile 123, which dates dack to the Celtic period. It was found in the salt mines of Hallstatt, where it has been reused and was thus preserved. Originally it was most probably sewn onto a sleeve hem.

Ich war gestern mit meinem Bruder im Archäologisches Museum Kelheim. Das Museum zeigt Ausstellungsstücke von der Urzeit bis hin zum 19. Jjahrhundert. Es gibt Dinosaurier, Steinzeitfunde, Römerfunde und Baiuvarenfunde zu sehen.
